Don't be fooled by bogus websites and organisations claiming to sell tickets to the Games.
Tickets will be available from this website, for the UK and EEA (European Economic Area) residents only, and official London 2012 sales channels from spring 2011. You will not be asked to make a payment or sign a contract until then.
Residents outside the UK and EEA will need to apply for tickets through their local National Olympic Committee, National Paralympic Committee or Authorised Ticket Reseller from 2011. Find out more

Visa - The only card accepted at the London 2012 Games
In recognition of Visa's support of the Games, the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games are proud to accept only Visa cards (debit, credit and prepaid), along with cash and cheques. For more information on how to obtain a Visa card, contact a Visa card issuer or visit the Visa website.
Did you know?
The Aquatics Centre, located in the Olympic Park, will host Swimming during both the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The venue, with its iconic wave-shaped roof, will also stage Diving, Synchronised Swimming and Waterpolo, plus the Swimming discipline of Modern Pentathlon, during the Olympic Games. There will be 17,500 seats for Swimming and Diving and 5,000 for Waterpolo.
ExCeL, located in east London's Royal Victoria Docks, will host seven Olympic sports (Boxing, Fencing, Judo, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Weightlifting and Wrestling) and five Paralympic sports (Boccia, Judo, Powerlifting, Table Tennis and Wheelchair Fencing) in five arenas. Up to 40,000 seats will be available to watch the action.
